ICE May cotton contract increased as 2024 acres estimated by USDA were less than expected and the U.S. cotton export sales were decent. Contract of May closed at 91.38cent/lb, up 0.61cent/lb and contract of Jul closed at 91.97cent/lb, up 0.53cent/lb.

 

Cotlook A Index reduced by 2.35cent/lb to 95.60cent/lb.
