ICE cotton futures market slumps as the trade tensions grew with the U.S. threatening 10 percent tariffs on Chinese goods with value of $200 billion. Contract of Dec closed at 84.72cent/lb, down 1.55cent/lb and contract of Mar closed at 84.46cent/lb, down 1.41cent/lb.

Cotlook A Index rose by 0.85cent/lb to 96.45cent/lb.
