Pakistan ends review of new anti-dumping exporters of China-made PFY

On February 19, 2021, Pakistan's National Customs Commission issued the latest notice in case No. 46 / 2016/NTC/PFY/NR/2020, saying that because it was impossible to determine the separate dumping margin of the applicant Suzhou Rusheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. during the investigation period, it terminated the reexamination investigation of the new anti-dumping exporter of polyester filament yarn (Polyester Filament Yarn) imported from China and Malaysia. 11.35% anti-dumping duty was levied on Suzhou Rusheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. The products involved include polyester textured yarn (Hs code: 5402.3300), fully drawn filament (Hs code: 5402.4700) and multi-plied yarns (Hs code: 5402.6200), excluding colored polyester filament yarns. The investigation period of this case was from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

On February 27, 2016, Pakistan's National Customs Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyester filament yarns originating from or imported from China and Malaysia. On August 26, 2017, Pakistan's National Customs Commission issued a notice to make a final anti-dumping ruling on the case and began to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of five years. On February 21, 2020, Pakistan's National Customs Commission issued a notice, in response to the application submitted by Chinese manufacturer / exporter Suzhou Rusheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. on January 27, 2020, to launch an anti-dumping new exporter review investigation on polyester filament yarns imported from China and Malaysia.
