China's retail sales of consumer goods in Aug, 2021

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 3.4395 trillion Yuan in Aug 2021, up 2.5% year on year and up 3.0% compared with that in Aug 2019. Of the total, the retail sales of consumer goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.23trillion Yuan, up 0.5% year on year.

In Aug 2021, the retail sales of goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.1557trillion Yuan, up 0.8% year on year, with that of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 90 billion Yuan, down 6.0% year on year.

During Jan to Aug 2021, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 28.1224 trillion Yuan, up 18.1% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 856.5 billion Yuan, up 24.8% year on year.
