Vietnamese textile and apparel export recovered to the pre-Covid level

Vietnamese textile and apparel export totaled 32.7 billion USD in 2021, up 10.3% year-on-year. The exports in Dec were 3.615 billion USD, up 27.7% year-on-year and 18.7% month-on-month.

From the perspective of major Vietnamese textile and apparel exports destination, the United States was still the largest exporting destination for Vietnamese textile and apparel. The exports to the United States accounted for 51% in 2021, followed by Japan and South Korea, accounting for 10% and 9% respectively, while those to China accounted for 4%, unchanged in 2021 over 2020.
