Peru launches anti-dumping investigation on polyester fabrics originated from China

According to the news from the Ministry of Commerce, the Committee on dumping, subsidies and non-tariff Trade barriers of the Peruvian National Competition and intellectual property Protection Agency issued notice No. 007-2022 in the official daily Peruvian Le Peruvia, deciding to response to the Peruvian enterprise Tecnología Textil S.A.'s apply for an anti-dumping investigation against polyester fabrics originating in China. 

The products involved are natural, white or dyed 100% plain polyester fabrics with a width of less than 1.8 meters and a unit gram weight of between 80 grams/square meters and 200grams/square meters. The Peruvian tariff numbers are 5512.11.00.00 and 5512.19.00.00. The dumping investigation period in this case is from January to December 2021, and the injury investigation period is from January 2018 to December 2021. The announcement shall take effect as of the date of promulgation.
