Rayon single yarn exported to five major destinations totaled 15.571kt in the first two months of 2022, down 40% year on year, taking up 84% of total single yarn exports. Among the five destinations, the export to Brazil is reduced notably with the share of Feb falling to the second lowest of 14% since the last low point of 6% in Jun, 2020. The export to Bangladesh is almost flat with that to Brazil, while the export to Indonesia stays at higher level, occupying 45% of total volume during Jan-Feb.

In Jan-Feb of 2022, rayon yarn export of China slips year on year. The export of single yarn declines much, while that of ply yarn and rayon blended yarn improves much on yearly basis. There are great changes in the export structure in terms of destination as the share of Brazil drops much. Since the percentage of India has been rising sharply, that of Brazil has been unsteady. The export structure may change as Brazil is likely to maintain low percentage. However, the share of five major origins does not change much.
