The first sugar process PDO production plant successfully starts operation in China

In June, 2022, Guangdong Qingda Zhixing Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingda Zhixing") and Shanxi Changqing Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Changqing Biology") jointly built a production plant with a 20kt/year of sugar process 1,3-propylene glycol (PDO for short)

After the success of Qingda Zhixing in commercializing the technology of glycerol fermentation to produce 1,3-propylene glycol in 2018, it once again successfully applying the new generation of sugar process 1,3-propylene glycol production technology to the 10,000-ton production line, indicating that Qingda Zhixing has become the only high-tech enterprise in the world that has mastered the "glycerol + sugar multi-raw material PDO fermentation technology" and realized industrialization.
