Xinfengming to construct a new PTA project

Xinfengming made an announcement to raise funds privately for its new 5.4 million mt/yr PTA project. The project, including a new line with capacity of 4 million mt/yr and capacity expansion of the existing two lines by 1.4 million mt/yr, is implemented by Dushan Energy, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinfengming.

Dushan Energy currently has two PTA lines. The construction of the new project will last for 3 years and once it is started, Dushan Energy’s PTA capacity will further increase to provide feedstock for its PFY and PSF production. Then, the company’s competitiveness will enhance with self-sufficiency rate of PTA rising.
