South Korea Taekwang's 108kt/year differential spandex project starts construction in Ningdong, Ningxia

On February 18, on the construction site of Ningdong base branch site, the differential spandex production line and supporting facilities, with a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan, from the South Korea Taekwang Industrial Co., Ltd. (the largest comprehensive chemical fiber manufacturer in South Korea) will be built in three phases, and each phase will have 36kt/year of capacity. After the project is completed and put into operation, the annual output of differential spandex is 108kt/year, with an additional sales income of 6 billion yuan per year, which is conducive to accelerating the development of industries in the autonomous region and releasing the effect of high-performance fiber industrial clusters in Ningdong base. It will speed up the pace of industrial transformation and upgrading, help the "China spandex Valley" construction step into the fast lane, run out of acceleration, and form new momentum.
 

The project plans to build a differential spandex project with 108kt/year of capacity, with a planned investment of 4.5 billion yuan and a planned area of 500mu. The main products are 51,000 tons of spandex 20D, 16,200 tons of spandex 30D and 40,800 tons of spandex 40D. This project is divided into three phases and each phase of spandex capacity is 36kt/year. The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in August 2024, the second phase of the project is expected to be completed in August 2025, and the third phase of the project is anticipated to be finished in August 2026.
