Dongjing Biological's 280kt/year BDO project starts complete production

Recently, it has been reported from Dongjing Biological Environmental Protection Technology Co., LTD, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co., Ltd., that the company's 280kt/year of 1,4-BDO project has been fully put into production. Since then, Dongyuan Technology has become the largest integrated production base of BDO in China.

The project adopts Guanda production process and is constructed by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. on May 20, 2021, smooth delivery on August 1, 2022, successful start-up and production of high-grade BDO products on November 24, 2022, purity up to 99.91%, and fully put into production on February 27, 2023. It has created the records of the shortest construction period, the shortest commissioning time and the shortest time to reach high-grade products for similar projects in BDO industry.

At present, the construction of the downstream industrial chain of Dongyuan Science and Technology is accelerating. 100kt/year ofγ-butyrolactone in the first phase of the project with an annual output of 200kt has been put into commissioning, and the preliminary work of the second phase of the project of 100kt has been carried out. The construction work of the degradable polyester project with 200kt/year of capacity is being stepped up.
