Ko Yo signs 500KTA ADN and 1.2million nylon 66 project

On March 16, 2023, Ko Yo New Material Project with a total investment of 1.7 billion USD was signed in Chengdu and settled in Guang'an Economic Development Zone. This is the fourth industrial project with an investment of tens of billions of RMB introduced in Guang'an, and the largest foreign investment project introduced since Guang'an was established as a city. Yang Xingping, vice governor of Sichuan, attended the signing ceremony.

The new materials project of Ko Yo will build an annual output of 1.2 million tons of nylon 66, 500,000 tons of hexanediamine, 500,000 tons of adiponitrile, 300,000 tons of butadiene and other product lines. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 20 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 2 billion yuan after completion.

Founded in 2002 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in July 2003, Ko Yo Chemical Group has three production bases in Chinese mainland, Guang'an, Dazhou and Changzhou, Jiangsu. Since the layout of Guang'an in 2011, the group has set up Guang'an Ko Yo Chemical, Guang'an Hongyuan Technology and Sichuan Juyuan High-Tech Materials.
