On April 18th. Lenzing (Nanjing) Fiber Co., Ltd held TENCEL? Modal fiber production celebration ceremony in Nanjing. Since its establishment in January 2020, the TENCEL? Modal fiber Project of Lenzing (Nanjing) has been highly valued by Jiangsu Province, Nanjing City and district governments. At present, Lenzing (Nanjing) is gradually transforming to green production, and all the plant's electricity is expected to come from renewable energy starting 2023.

Zheng Lei, general manager of Lenzing (Nanjing) Fiber Co., Ltd., introduced Lenzing (Nanjing) Fiber Co., Ltd. and the Modal project. The project covers an area of 335,000 square meters and currently has a total investment of nearly 400 million US dollars. There are three modern production lines in the plant, with a total production capacity of 120,000t/a, each package of fiber produced can be traced, and the production process and product quality data of each package of fiber can be locked to ensure the high-quality production of each package of fiber.

At present, Lenzing (Nanjing) totally has three production lines, one of which is TENCEL? Modal fiber line, and the other two lines focus on ordinary environmental-friendly fibers.
