CTACELL holds acceptance meeting of 60kt/yr lyocell fiber project

On May 9, the acceptance meeting of the "60kt/yr lyocell fiber construction project" undertaken by CTACELL was held in Xinxiang, Henan.

Since the project was established in 1998, three phases of lines with total capacity of 90kt have been built. Among them, the "60kt/yr lyocell fiber construction project" was approved by GENERTEC in December 2018. The construction site of the project is located in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone of Xinxiang City, Henan Province, with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters.

During the trial production on June 17, 2022, it reached the best record of producing high-quality products on the first day of operation. At the end of July 2022, all three lyocell fibers with total capacity of 60kt/yr had been put into operation. The various consumptions are significantly lower than the design target.
