Integrated BDO project of Inner Mongolia Sanwei begins to take shape

Recently, at the construction site of the BDO integrated project of Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. in the Low-Carbon Industrial Park of Wuhai High-tech Industrial Development Zone, various reaction devices and towers are being assembled in an orderly manner, and the entire factory area has taken shape.

The project makes full use of Wuhai's location and resource advantages, and is committed to building an integrated industrial chain of "coal chemical industry, advanced functional polymer materials, and electronic grade new materials". It plans to build new materials such as 900,000 tons of BDO, 600,000 tons of degradable plastic PBAT, and 300,000 tons of high-end polyether material PTMEG annually. Since the project started construction in the spring of 2022, the construction has made rapid progress, and it is expected that the BDO unit will be put into operation in Aug 2023.

The total investment of the BDO integrated project of Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. is 13 billion yuan, and the annual investment plan is 1.5 billion yuan. 200 million yuan has been invested from January to April. The total investment of the 200kt/year degradable polycool project of Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is 1.2335 billion yuan, and the annual investment plan is 500 million yuan.
