Yizheng Chemical Fiber's 230kta intelligent staple fiber project likely to start up in Aug, 2023

The construction of the first phase of the 230,000-ton intelligent staple fiber project of Yizheng Chemical Fiber is advancing rapidly. Recently, the project-related civil engineering, equipment installation, and steel structure construction have entered the final stage, and pipeline construction, electrical instrumentation and other equipment assembly are in full swing. According to the person in charge of the project, based on the construction progress, the project is planned to be completed and put into operation in August.

The first-phase project of direct-spun intelligent staple fiber with an annual output of 230,000 tons is a major project in Jiangsu Province, and it is also the first sub-project implemented in the 4 million tons/year high-end green new material integration project of Yizheng Chemical Fiber, with a total investment of 1.45 billion yuan, including a polyester production line with an annual output of 230,000 tons, followed by four spunlace non-woven polyester staple fiber production lines with an annual output of 25,000 tons and four low-melting polyester staple fiber production lines with an annual output of 33,000 tons, as well as public works and auxiliary facilities.

After the completion of the project, it will help Yizheng Chemical Fiber continue to maintain its global leadership in polyester staple fiber production and sales, and further enhance Yizheng Chemical Fiber's core competitiveness in the high-end and specialty chemical fiber product market.
