Huizhou Yuxin's 120kt/year 1,4 BDO project's large equipment successfully hoisted into position

On June 5, 2023, the largest piece of equipment (esterification reactor R-5420) of the 120kt/year 1,4-butanediol project of Huizhou Yuxin New Materials Co., LTD was successfully lifted and installed for the installation project by the Beijing Branch of China Chemical Engineering No. 6 Construction Co., LTD. The smooth lifting and installation laid a solid foundation for the next installation work, and signaled the start of a new phase in the construction site.

The project is located in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Area of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. The scope of the project includes the compressor workshop, hydrogenation framework, esterification framework, refining framework, PSA hydrogen production, tank area, internal pipeline engineering of the device, and all installation engineering (including electrical and instrumentation, firefighting) archiving work. This encompasses steel structures, equipment, process pipelines, anti-corrosion and insulation engineering, among other specialties.
