Largest PBAT project in Yunan province, toal invest of 4.35 billion CNY

On Ju 14, 2023, Yunan Meineng New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jingke Holdings Limited, officially signed a contract with the People's Government of Lufeng City for a 200,000 tons/year 1,4-Butanediol (BDO) plant and a 300,000 tons/year biodegradable plastic PBAT plant at the headquarters of Jingke Holdings Limited in Shenzhen.

The project is planned to be located in the Qinfeng Chemical Industrial Park, with a planned land area of 750 mu and a total investment of approximately 6 billion yuan. Among them, the 100,000 tons/year 1,4-Butanediol (BDO) and 100,000 tons/year PBAT plant will occupy about 450 mu of land, with an investment of about 4.35 billion yuan. The company has made corresponding adjustments to the project's construction content and scale based on the land conditions.

It is understood that this project is the largest PBAT project in Yunnan Province and also the largest biodegradable plastic project. Lufeng Industrial Park is one of the key supported parks in the province, aiming to achieve a trillion-level output. The provincial government is expected to provide corresponding policy support, and the Lufeng Municipal Government will develop surrounding infrastructure to create favorable conditions for the project to settle in.
