Xinye Energy and Chemical's 200kt/year BDO (phase II) project forges ahead steadily

On July 14, 2023, the first steel structure of BYDa device, the second phase of the BDO project of Saiding Company Xinjiang Xinye Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., began to be hoisted, marking the official beginning of the installation of the steel structure of the project.

The second phase of Xinye Energy and Chemical's BDO project is located in Wujiaqu City, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. The project is expected to build 140kt/year of BDO and is expected to be completed and put into production in August 2024. The project includes the construction of BDO plant, acetylene plant, formaldehyde plant, calcium carbide storage and crushing, process outer pipe and pipe corridor, road, connection with the original system and the necessary modification.
