Guangjin's 300kt/year BDO project achieves new progress

Recently, in the Low-carbon Industrial Park of Wuhai High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Wuhai Guangjin New Materials Co., Ltd. project site, the project has now entered the construction stage.

Up to now, the construction of civil foundation and the installation of steel structures of some factories have been carried out in an all-round way. It is planned that by the end of this year, the installation of major equipment and part of the piping work will be completed. According to the overall schedule, the machinery will be completed next year, and the chemical commissioning work will be completed in June 2025.

It was reported that the total investment of the project is about 5.77 billion yuan, and the project is divided into two phases: the first phase of the 300kt/year BDO project and the second phase of the 300kt/year PBAT project, covering an area of about 1065 mu. The project will build 3x100kt/year BDO plant and 120kt/year calcium carbide acetylene plant etc., as well as supporting public auxiliary facilities such as air pressure, raw water treatment, circulating water, production and office. After the completion of the project, the annual output value is expected to reach 5.4 billion yuan.
