China's PSF exports change in H1, 2023

According to the China Customs, uncarded PSF exports of China were 101kt in Jun, 2023, an increase of 11.8% year on year and up 3.1% month on month.

In the first half year of 2023, exports totaled 605.6kt, up 24.2% year on year. The exports maintained good and reached multi-year high.

In terms of the top 10 export destinations in Jan-Jun, 2023, Vietnam remained the largest export markets, with a volume of 101,708 tons, up about 30.91% from the same period of 2022. Except the United States, exports to these major markets all saw two-digit growth year on year.

For the export market proportion, Vietnam took the largest share of 16.8%, up 0.86% year on year. Pakistan and Indonesia took the second and third largest shares, and their shares increased by 1.45% and 1.57% respectively. Again, the shares of United States reduced to 4.61%, down 3% year on year.

 

PSF exports remain good in the first half year of 2023, and the traditional textile markets tend to turn to import PSF instead of polyester yarn. Under the impact of industrial shift, PSF exports may hit new highs again this year.
