Many textile enterprises on the list of top 2023 Chinese enterprises

As a barometer of economic development, the annual list of China's top 500 enterprises has attracted much attention.

On September 20, the China Enterprise Federation and the China Entrepreneur Association released the list of "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises". Taking the business income of enterprises in 2022 as the entry criteria, the entry threshold was 46.998 billion yuan, an increase of 2.373 billion yuan over the previous year, while the entry threshold for top 500 manufacturing enterprises and service enterprises reached 16.55 billion yuan and 7.823 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 1.772 billion yuan and 914 million yuan over the previous year.

The list showed that the threshold for entry has been further raised this year, with 100 billion-class enterprises exceeding 50% for the first time. It is worth noting that the top 2023 Chinese enterprises invested 1.578688 trillion yuan in research and development, an increase of more than 130 billion yuan, or more than 9 percent, over the last year.

Eighteen textile-related enterprises were shortlisted in China's top 500. Among them, Hengli Group Co., Ltd. ranked 36th with revenue of 611.757 billion yuan, Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. ranked 40th with revenue of 579.618 billion yuan, and Shenghong Holdings Group Co., Ltd. ranked 66th with revenue of 412.022 billion yuan.
