Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian)'s NO.1 BDO unit to start operation in end-October

On October 7, Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) New Materials's project No. 1 BDO unit, No. 1 maleic anhydride plant (including butane pretreatment) start-up meeting was successfully held.

600kt/year BDO and its supporting projects

Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.'s 600kt/year BDO and supporting projects are located in Dalian Changxing Island Polyurethane Science and Technology Industrial Park, with a total investment of 8.58722 billion yuan, which is divided into two phases, in which 1 million tons/year n-butane separation plant, 4×210kt/year maleic anhydride plant, 2×300kt/year 1,4-butanediol plant, 100kt/year succinic acid plant, 60kt/year PTMEG plant and utilities and auxiliary facilities are added to the first phase. In the second phase, 300kt/year nitric acid plant, 300kt/year adipic acid plant, 60kt/year PTMEG unit, 100kt/yearγ-butyrolactone unit, 100kt/year NMP unit, 400kt/year nylon 66 unit are added.
