Inner Mongolia Huaheng's BDO project starts production successfully

On November 19, 2023, the full process of PTMEG, PBAT new material industry chain integration project, formaldehyde plant, natural gas hydrogen production plant, BDO plant, PTMEG plant from Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. got through, achieving a successful start-up. Qualified hydrogen, formaldehyde, BDO, PTMEG products were successfully produced. All device products are of good quality, of which hydrogen purity is 99.9% and the BDO purity is at 99.7%.
 

The project is located in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Low-carbon Industrial Park, using Wuhai City's rich limestone resources and coal resources, adopting alkyne aldehyde method to produce BDO to provide raw materials for PTMEG plant. The PTMEG device fills the gap in the fine chemical industry chain in Wuhai region, which is of great strategic significance to promote the development of local new material market. Chengda Company undertakes the general contract for 11 sets of main process equipment, the engineering design of supporting public works and auxiliary facilities, the overall design of the whole plant and the overall coordination work, etc.
