China's retail sales of textiles and garments continue to increase in Oct, 2023

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.3333 trillion Yuan in Oct 2023, up 7.6% year on year. In Jan-Oct 2023, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 38.544 trillion Yuan, up 6.9% year on year.

In Oct 2023, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles of enterprises above designated size was 120.71 billion yuan, up 7.5% year on year. In Jan-Oct, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 1112.64 billion yuan, up 10.2% year-on-year.

In Oct 2023, the retail value of apparel goods of enterprises above designated size was 89.77 billion yuan, up 8.7% year-on-year. From January to October, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 814.34 billion yuan, up by 12.3% year-on-year.
