ICE cotton futures market went lower amid overwhelming speculative and producer selling. Contract of May closed at 81.29cent/lb, down 1.64cent/lb and contract of Jul closed at 83.09cent/lb, down 2.06cent/lb.
Cotlook A Index rose by 0.70cent/lb to 89.60cent/lb.
