| Profile: | Since its creation in 1951, ITMA exhibition has been held in Europe. ITMA has been billed as the¡®Olympics¡¯ of all textile machinery shows, the vital meeting place for both buyers and sellers. The Comit¨¦ Europ¨¦en des Constructeurs de Machines Textiles (CEMATEX) made a decision to organise a showcase that caters to the needs of Asian textile manufacturers, which represent 40 percent of its members¡¯ buyers. Thus, ITMA ASIA, the first Asian exhibition of textile machinery, made its debut in 2001. The inaugural ITMA ASIA held in Singapore in 2001 was a huge success. It featured: • 60,000sqm of gross exhibition space • 802 exhibitors from 33 economies • 29,195 accumulated visitorship of from 67 economies. Thanks to the strong industry support, the second presentation of ITMA ASIA is slated for a bigger showing in 2005. We invite you to be part of this milestone event. |
