Acrylic Flame Retardant Yarn

Being made of high LOI (Limited Oxygen Index) acrylic difficult-combustion cotton, the acrylic flame retardant yarn is characterized by quite high difficult-combustion property, particularly suitable for interweaving and blending with natural cotton. The high-LOI acrylic difficult-combustion cotton will shrink to form carbonized layer in heating, and hereby improve the safety higher than the fused polyester.

Generally, the bed clothing is fire-prevented with LOI between 26 and 27, whereas the acrylic difficult-combustion cotton is within the range of 32-34. So, the cotton can be mixed with natural cotton and wool to meet the fire-prevention requirement, and improve the poor feel, moisture absorption and poor air permeability of difficult-combustion products made of natural fiber. Also, it fully presents excellent performance of natural materials together with hands feeling.
