China's retail sales of textiles and garments in May 2021

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 3.5945 trillion Yuan in May 2021, up 12.4% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 113 billion Yuan in May, up 12.3% year on year.

During Jan to May, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 17.43185 trillion Yuan, up 25.7% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 556.8 billion Yuan in Jan-May, up 39.1% year on year.

In May, the retail sales of garments of enterprises above designated size was 82.17 billion Yuan, up 15.4% year on year; that in Jan to May amounted to 405.8 billion Yuan, up 43.2% year on year.
