Nylon 6&66 modified palstic demand wanes

Modified engineering plastic (short as MP) demand gradually reduces, and their procurement for feedstock turns cautious. The order taking has been reducing since December 2023, with order to be delivered less than half a month.

Regarding MP plants' procurement for nylon chips. Nylon 6 chip market is still strong and supply is sufficient now, so downstream is restocking cautiously while inquire less. Nylon 66 chip market is supported by high cost and suppliers are reluctant to sell at previous lows, and MP plants restock at need-to basis.

MP plants' operation is steady to lower. Large MP plants are mainly running at above 70-80%, while medium-small-plants are mostly running around 50%, some produce according to order.
