China's PSF exports hit a record in Jan-Sep, 2025

According to the China Customs, uncombed or uncarded PSF exports of China were 149.7kt in Sep, 2025, marking a 43% year-on-year surge and a 5.6% month-on-month decline. Imports were 4.7kt, a fall of 55.7% year-on-year and 9.6% month-on-month.

In the first three quarters of 2025, cumulative exports hit 1.25 million tons, up 31% from the same period in 2024 and setting a new historical record.

In terms of the top 10 export destinations in the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam maintained the largest export markets, with a volume of 230,087 tons, up about 15.5% from the same period of 2024, with a proportion of 18.5%. Pakistan ranked the second place, with a volume of 154,956 tons, up 66.3% year on year, and its proportion reached 12.4%. Brazil took the third place, seeing a yearly growth of 61.6%. However, exports to Israel decreased, with a yearly reduction of 2.8%.

China's PSF exports hit a record in 2025's first three quarters, driven by global demand for chemical fiber raw materials and surging imports from capacity-expanding markets like Pakistan and Brazil.
