China's retail sales of textiles and garments increase y-o-y in Sep, 2025

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.2trillion Yuan in Sep 2025, up 3% year on year. In Jan-Sep 2025, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 3.66trillion Yuan, up 4.5% year on year.

In Sep 2025, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size was 123.05 billion yuan, up 4.7% year on year. In Jan-Sep, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 1061.27 billion yuan, up 3.1% year-on-year.

In Sep 2025, the retail value of apparel goods above designated size was 88.17 billion yuan, up 3.6% year-on-year. From January to September, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 759.02 billion yuan, up by 2.4% year-on-year.
