CCA Xinjiang cotton harvest and sales progress by mid-November, 2025
According to China Cotton Association's investigation over 969 growers in Xinjiang in mid-November 2025, the weather condition was favorable for the cotton harvests and the picking was basically completed. Sales were also under progress and drawing to a close.
As of November 15, the cotton harvest progress in Xinjiang reached 99.7%, up 0.2 percentage point from the same period of last year. Harvests in most cotton belts of Xinjiang have ended and only a small quantity of hand-picked cotton waited for harvests. The sales progress hit 98.8%, up 5 percentage points year-on-year. As the seed cotton quality reduced in the late period compared to peak time, purchase prices moved lower somewhat.
