ICE cotton futures market increases

ICE cotton futures market increased. Contract of Jul closed at 77.04cent/lb, up 0.4cent/lb and contract of Dec closed at 80.54cent/lb, up 0.38cent/lb. U.S. cotton export sales continued to pick up, which was boosted by the lower basis in previous weeks, but the overall export sales may be limited in the late marketing year.

Cotlook A Index rose by 0.55cent/lb to 86.80cent/lb.
