By the week ending Jun 7, about 77% U.S. cotton crops have been planted, up 11 percentage point from May 31, up 2 percentage point from the same period of 2025, flat from five-year average, according to USDA. 13% of crops has been squaring, up 6 percentage point from previous week, up 2 percentage point from the same period of 2025, and up 2 percentage point from five-year average.

Crop condition is 5 percent very poor, 9 percent poor, 33 percent fair, 42 percent good and 11 percent excellent.
