It is extensively used in diverse fields such as high quality linings and lingerie, as well as in apparel applications. It can also take various forms other than yarn and staple fiber. Among these examples are Bemliese, a binder free spunbonded nonwoven fabric, as well as a hollow fiber for artificial kidneys, each having earned on outstanding reputation in their fields.
