A PVC Washable Underpad(Bed Pad & Chair Pad) is a piece of soft cloth that is quilted with a absorbent nonwoven underneath it and is sewn to a waterproof vinyl backing. The purpose of the product is to capture urine and absorb it into the nonwoven material so it does not ruin furniture. So a standard PVC washable underpad should have 3 layers at least: Surface, Soaker and Barrier. The normal materials for the 3 layers are as below:

Surface: IBEX, Birdeyes, TWILL, Poplin, Jersey, Terry, 100%cotton Flannel, 100% brushed poly Knit, 100%poly Microfibre, etc..

Soaker: Poly/Rayon blend nonwoven, 6 ounce, 8 ounce, 10 ounce, 12 ounce, etc..

Barrier: 100%vinyl extruded to 100%poly knit, non-slip backing
