 fabric can quickly return to the original shape and size, knitted fabric flexibility and extensibility are 

much better than woven fabrics.

 Coil structure makes knitted fabrics easily alternative with the body when wearing, so that the coil in 

the fabric happen to form a certain degree of bending, deforming and stretching, the coils alternates 

between others, which making the fabric easier to fit the human body, dressed in soft , comfortable, 

the chain structure formed by the vertical strings between coil and coil, which impacted by fabric own 

gravity, yarn segments of every coil will also softly alternate to the direction of gravity, which can 

make the fabric form a good drape feeling.

When the fabric is wrinkle, due to the transferability of the coil, the coil is stretched pumping from 

the adjacent coil to meet the external forces of deformation, when wrinkle power eliminated, the 

being transferred yarn will return under the effects of coil balance ability, which makes it back to its 

original structure, it is different with woven fabric which shows the yarn bending when wrinkle.

As the coil structure demonstrates a three-dimensional curved space curve, some pores existed 

in the knitted string between coil and coil, so that internal fabric contains a lot of air, or about an 

air separation, when no outer clothing block, outside air easily through the pores into the knitted 

fabric, which play the role of ventilation.
