Cotton crop condition in United States (by Jul 11, 2021)

By the week ending Jul 11, about 55% U.S. cotton crops have been squaring, up 13% from last week, down 6% from a year ago, and down 6% from five-year average, according to USDA. About 16% of the crops is setting bolls, up 5% from previous week, down 1% from a year ago, and down 4% from five-year average.

Crop condition is 1 percent very poor, 8 percent poor, 35 percent fair, 44 percent good and 12 percent excellent.
