Cotton crop condition in United States (by Jul 25, 2021)

By the week ending Jul 25, about 78% U.S. cotton crops have been squaring, up 9% from last week, down 4% from a year ago, and down 5% from five-year average, according to USDA. About 37% of the crops is setting bolls, up 14% from previous week, down 3% from a year ago, and down 5% from five-year average.

Crop condition is 1 percent very poor, 7 percent poor, 31 percent fair, 50 percent good and 11 percent excellent.
