Vietnam imposes provisionary anti-dumping duties on polyester yarn originating from China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia

On August 31, 2021, the Vietnamese Industry and Trade Department decided to levy provisional anti-dumping duties on polyester yarn products originating from China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia, covering Hs code: 5402.33.00, 5402.46.00 and 5402.47.00. The dumping tax rate is as follows:

The preliminary determination of anti-dumping duty will be executed 3 days after the date of release, with the execution period within 120 days.

The case was investigated on April 6, 2020, and the amount involved in the case reached 428 million US dollars. A total of 18 Chinese companies are involved.
