EU proposed duties on US and KSA MEG
In accordance with Article 19a of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036 of the European Parliament and the Council of 8 June 2016 on protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Union1 ('the basic Regulation') and with regard to the anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of mono ethylene glycol originating in the United States of America and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Commission provides with this annex a summary of the proposed provisional duties for information purposes only.
All exporting producers, for which an individual calculation was done, will receive details of the calculation of their individual provisional anti-dumping duties.
Product scope
The products subject to the provisional duties is mono ethylene glycol (current EC-number 203-473-3), originating in the United States of America and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, currently falling within CN code ex 2905 31 00 (TARIC code 2905 31 00 10).
Provisional anti-dumping duty
The rates of the provisional anti-dumping duty expressed on the CIF Union border price, customs duty unpaid, shall be as follows:
