China's retail sales of consumer goods in May, 2021

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 3.5945 trillion Yuan in May 2021, up 12.4% year on year and up 9.3% compared with that in May 2019. Of the total, the retail sales of consumer goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.32trillion Yuan, up 12.7% year on year.

In May 2021, the retail sales of goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.2291trillion Yuan, up 11.1% year on year, with that of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 113 billion Yuan, up 12.3% year on year.

During Jan to May 2021, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 17.4319 trillion Yuan, up 25.7% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 556.8 billion Yuan, up 39.1% year on year.
