ICE cotton futures market surges

ICE cotton futures market surged, bolstered by a weaker dollar and worries over crop loss due to heavy rainfalls in major growing regions. Contract of Jul closed at 86.46cent/lb, up 2.24cent/lb and contract of Dec closed at 86.94cent/lb, up 1.30cent/lb. 

Cotlook A Index rose by 0.5cent/lb to 94.95cent/lb.
