Hubei Sanning's cyclohexanone plant (CPL-nylon project) successfully capped

Recently, the capstone on the cyclohexanone plant of Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd.'s Caprolactam and Nylon New Material Project, which was constructed by the first branch of China Chemical Engineering 16th Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully placed. 

With the completion of the last can of concrete, the main structure of the cyclohexanone plant was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation works.

The main unit of cyclohexanone has a construction area of 51,000 square meters, with four floors on the ground and frame structure. The topping out was completed 45 days before the node schedule proposed by the company.

The Caprolactam and Nylon New Material Project of Hubei Saning includes the following:

- 400,000 tons/year caprolactam integrated project, supported by 1 million tons/year sulfuric acid plant, 560,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide (50%) plant, 400,000 tons/year ammonium sulfide plant and 2 sets of 200,000 tons/year ammonium sulfide extrusion granulation equipment.

- 400,000 tons/year polyamide (nylon) differentiated new material spinning project, including 400,000 tons/year polymerization plant and 200,000 tons/year nylon 6 spinning equipment.

- 200,000 tons/year nylon 66 integrated project, supported by 480,000 tons/year cyclohexanol plant, 465,000 tons/year cyclohexanone plant and 240,000 tons/year adipic acid, 100,000 tons/year adiponitrile, 100,000 tons/year hexanediamine and 200,000 tons/year nylon 66 chip plants.

In recent years, Sanning Company has actively implemented the Yangtze River conservation strategy, adhered to the chemical industry as its main business, promoted the fine development of phosphorus chemical industry, expanded the coal chemical product chain, and extended the new materials and new energy industry chain. The caprolactam and nylon new materials project is another billion-dollar project for the company after the successful production of the 600,000 tons/year ethylene glycol (MEG) project.
