The integrated project in Hubei with an annual production of 600 million meters of textiles starts construction

The Huazhaolin Textile integrated project with an annual production of 600 million meters of textiles recently commenced construction at Longgan Lake in Huanggang, Hubei Province. This is the largest single-investment textile enterprise project since the establishment of Longgan Lake. The project is invested by Jiangsu Hualian Group, which has been deeply engaged in the textile industry for 35 years.

Xu Shaoliang, the General Manager of Jiangsu Hualian Group, introduced that the total investment of the Huazhaolin Textile integrated production project is 1.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 256mu. The plan includes the construction of 6 new factory buildings, the purchase and installation of 3888 latest water-jet looms, as well as supporting equipment such as high-speed warping machines, automatic drawing-in machines, and post-dyeing finishing equipment. It is estimated to produce 600 million meters of textiles annually and achieve an output value of 1.2 billion yuan. The group will focus on "green" and "technology", concentrate advantageous resources, and fully promote the project construction. The plan is to complete the construction of some factory buildings and equipment installation within 3 months, complete all factory building construction and trial production within 5 months, and put all into operation within 8 months.

In recent years, Longgan Management Zone has focused on building a 10 billion textile industry cluster. In the first quarter of this year, 8 modern textile projects were signed, including high-end woolen sweater weaving and differential fabric production, with a total investment of 3.204 billion yuan. During the same period, the zone added 4 industrial textile enterprises above designated size, 5 provincial-level specialized and innovative textile enterprises, achieving an output value of 704 million yuan for industrial textile enterprises, a 30% increase compared to the same period last year.
