India announces the initiation of anti-dumping investigations into elastomeric filament yarns from China

On March 28, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into elastomeric filament yarns originating from or imported from China and Vietnam, based on an application submitted by the Indian company Indorama India Private Limited. This case involves products under Indian Customs codes 54024400 and 54041100. The period of investigation for dumping will be from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024 (12 months), while the injury investigation period will cover April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023, April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
