Turkey initiates third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on Chinese man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads

On May 21, 2025, Turkey's Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2025/7, stating that at the request of Turkish producers, it has initiated an anti-dumping sunset review investigation into man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads originating from China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The products under investigation are man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads, with the following Turkish tariff codes: 55.08, 55.09 (excluding 5509.52, 5509.61, 5509.91), 55.10 (excluding 5510.20), and 55.11. The announcement shall enter into force as of the date of issuance, and the existing anti-dumping duties shall remain valid during the investigation period.
