Wujiang High-Tech Zone holds groundbreaking and completion ceremony for industrial projects

Wujiang High-Tech Zone (Shengze Town) recently held a ceremony to mark the groundbreaking and completion of three major industrial projects with a total investment of 1.38 billion yuan.

The projects include: Diya Textile's antibacterial sofa fabric project with an annual capacity of 50 million meters, Guangli Silk's medical elastic fabric project with an annual capacity of 14 million meters, and Xinzeyuan Fiber Technology's bio-based fiber project with an annual output of 50,000 tons.

Diya Textile is investing 100 million yuan in its antibacterial sofa fabric project, which covers 19.05 mu of land and will feature a new 40,000-square-meter plant. The project plans to install 144 imported air-jet looms and 39 auxiliary equipment units. Upon completion, it will produce 50 million meters of high-end antibacterial sofa fabric annually, with an expected annual output value of 250 million yuan.

Guangli Silk is investing 130 million yuan in its medical elastic fabric project. The project spans 27.84 mu and includes the construction of a 9-story integrated industrial and commercial building, adding 85,000 square meters of new floor space. Equipment plans include 80 imported air-jet looms, 84 water-jet looms, and 100 twisters. Once operational, the facility will be capable of producing 14 million meters of medical elastic fabric and processing 3,000 tons of high-quality twisted yarn annually, with an expected annual output value of 250 million yuan.

Xinzeyuan Fiber Technology is also investing 130 million yuan in its bio-based fiber project, which shares the same land area and building specifications as the Guangli Silk project. The facility will introduce similar equipment and, once complete, is projected to produce 50,000 tons of bio-based fibers annually, contributing significantly to the green development of the textile industry.
