Pingmei Shenma's 450KTA CPL integrated project approved

On May 20, 2025, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base Management Committee accepted environmental impact assessment documents for construction projects, including the Phase III Power Island Project in the Chemical New Material Industrial Zone of Pingmei Shenma (Ningdong) Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd.

Construction Scale and Content:

- Total project investment:¥2,604.80 million, including¥100.25 million in environmental protection investment (3.8% of the total investment).

- Total land area: 188,600.94 m²(282.9 mu).

- Main construction: 3 sets of 480t/h high-temperature superhigh-pressure circulating fluidized bed boilers (two in use, one standby; single-unit rated outlet steam pressure: 13.7MPa).

- Supporting systems: Chemical water production system, condensate recovery and polishing system, circulating water system and auxiliary facilities, chilled water system and auxiliary facilities, sewage biochemical treatment and reclaimed water reuse facilities.

- Environmental protection facilities: Flue gas dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification devices, enclosed coal shed, and ash slag storage.

Project Heating Plan:

Shenma Holdings plans to acquire approximately 2,675 mu of new land in Area C of the Chemical New Material Industrial Zone at Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base to construct a "450,000-ton/year caprolactam integrated project." Pingmei Shenma (Ningdong) Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd. was registered at Room A2101-11, 21st Floor, Building A, Enterprise Headquarters Building, Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, to oversee post-construction operation and management.

The "450,000-ton/year caprolactam integrated project" mainly includes:

- 400,000-ton/year cyclohexanone plant (including 420,000-ton/year cyclohexanol hydration plant, 85,000-ton/year cyclohexane dehydrogenation plant, 400,000-ton/year cyclohexanol dehydrogenation plant)

- 500,000-ton/year fluidized bed hydrogen peroxide plant (35% concentration)

- 540,000-ton/year fuming sulfuric acid plant

- 450,000-ton/year caprolactam plant

- 450,000-ton/year PA6 polymerization plant

- 420,000-ton/year coal-to-hydrogen and ammonia plant (including 280,000-ton/year synthetic ammonia and 35,000 Nm³/h hydrogen)
